Almost all of us would like a 9 – 5 job with an excellent pay, benefits and vacation time. We prefer not work long/odd hours or during the weekends. It is out of question that the working environment be safe all the time every time. We like to work from a nice cozy office space. There is also no question that you will do anything and everything for YOUR own family. Right?

Now, think of a job where you have to work odd hours, on the streets and you don’t know when you are going to face someone with a knife or a gun. Your duty and only mission — with or without the uniform  — is to serve and protect not just YOUR family but all the families in the community…unconditionally!!! I love and respect police officers. I respect them for their ability to be selfless. Teachers, police officers and folks in the military get special treatment from us
