My husband and I were very pleased with the overall professionalism and artistic photography of Sri and Jana. We wanted to canvas our newborn daughter in the most creative way and Sri managed ro do just that.
We were most pleased with the fact that we could send the photos to friends as well as post them to social networks! Most photographers are leery with this but not Sri.
Sri and Jana are a dynamic duo, and we will certainly be passing their info along to new parents! Hey…they even changed our daughters poopie diaper-now that is true commitment!
This beautiful African American baby girl goes by the name London. She was over 25 days when she came to us for her newborn session. Typically, to get the contemporary/silly poses that we do, we prefer to have babies that 6 – 10 days old. The longer they have been in the outside world, the more they get more aware and active. For us to be actively posing them, we want them really sleepy
That doesn’t mean it is impossible to work with older babies…it is just more time-consuming and challenging.Jana, the magician knows what to do and London slept like a baby
It certainly helps to have understanding (clients) parents. As she was handing off the baby to us, she asked us to do the best we can and that she wouldn’t mind if London had her eyes open.I think the baby heard her mom saying that and obliged

Having completed several maternity sessions and delighted several moms-to-be with the beautiful contemporary pregnancy photos, we realized something very basic yet extremely powerful. Every mom-to-be loves to celebrate their pregnancy…that is the underlying theme – no doubt about that but what is different is how they decide/want to express that happiness/celebration. Some like it conservative while others love to go in for artistic nudes. Some like it colorful while others like it subtle. But everyone that comes to us has one commonality (besides the celebration) – they love our minimalist and contemporary style

4/12/2011Sri and Jana did a wonderful job with my maternity and newborn photos. I had some specific ideas of what I wanted for my maternity shots and I had purchased props for the newborn shots. They listened to my ideas and really delivered. The pictures are beautiful and we couldn’t be happier!!

After reading many great reviews and speaking with Jana (Sri’s wife), I decided that Photos by Sri would be the my photographer for my maternity session. His website depicts the wonderful and absolutely beautiful work that they do. I really enjoyed my initial conversation with Jana; as it made the process really comfortable for me being that I’ve never had personal professional photos done before and didn’t know what to expect. Upon showing up to the appointment, my husband and I were warmly welcomed by Sri and Jana. They are such caring people that are very passionate about ensuring that they take the the best photos while also making me feel as comfortable as possible. I absolutely loved how they work so well together and how each point of direction they gave each other was key to capturing the most beautiful and elegant pictures. My pictures look amazing and I would highly recommend Photos by Sri for your maternity session!
