We had such a beautiful couple come in with their 5 day old baby girl Arianna. These guys met each other in NYC; the brand new mom is doing a course on midwifery there while the dad works at a Latin American restaurant. She has got family here and will be in the Windy City for a little bit. She calls the day before her maternity session and says she has HAD her baby – just in time so ABC could film the newborn session.
Those who know me really well know that I am the worst handy man. I once said something like this to Jana “ I love to do DIY (do-it yourself) projects but don’t want to do it myself”. You should have seen her reaction. I changed all that recently; I created my own funnel lamp for this baby session. Bought a funnel from ebay ($9), a cord kit from Home Depot ($6), retro bulb ($3) and spent 30 minutes putting it all together. Total expen$e less than $20. Confidence Boost – Infinite
