Meet MetroSouth Hospital’s First Baby of the New Year!
Meet precious little Tony James Castillo, born at 7:06 a.m. on New Year’s Day at MetroSouth Medical Center, weighing a healthy 6lb. 7oz.
Dr. Arlette Brown attended the delivery and little Tony joins a 15 month old sister at home. I am so glad I got the opportunity to take his pictures.

Back in November 2010, we had this couple in the studio for a fun and beautiful maternity photography session. Their baby girl’s name was a secret until she was born and so until now we did not showcase this picture above. Born on December 10th, we took her newborn photos yesterday. She has such a gorgeous face and soft red hair!!! Beautiful features…after the session, I spent a few minutes holding her…so cute …so pure!

Cute African American Babies | Evanston Newborn Photographer

This darling’s name is Kimora. She outwits her own clock…arrived several weeks early and knows exactly what she wants … she wants to be swaddled, her pacifier, warm and cozy bassinet that rocks and a warm hand constantly patting her baby bottoms. In a nut shell, she is a diva. I kid you not; she has one of the most lustrous skins we have ever seen…it glitters!
We all had a great time taking her newborn pictures. Her mom’s only suggestion (complaint
) – “Sri – you need to showcase more chocolate..caramel babies on your website ”. I think she is right; I post more baby pictures (regardless of color) on my blog than on my website. Positive Experience….We were extremely pleased with the photography services of Sri and his wife Jana for our newborn. Our daughter was not very cooperative, but Sri and Jana did an amazing job making us feel very comfortable. After being in their studio for almost two hours and my daughter not going to sleep; Sri suggested that they follow us home where our daughter might be more comfortable and relaxed to conduct the shoot. It started as a joke, but made sense; since our house was 5 minutes from the studio. When Sri and Jana arrived at our home our daughter was finally sleep and we got some amazing shots. Sri didn’t charge us extra for coming to our home or for shooting an additional two hours he just wanted amazing shots and we definitely got them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We will use them again as our daughter grows.
