I got an email a couple days ago from my Yelp Maternity and Baby Chicago Photography Business page informing me that a new review has been submitted. I have been upset with Yelp since they have this weird automated filtering mechanism that hides (with no rhyme or reason) feedback submitted by my legit clients. They claim that this filter is put in place to safeguard business owners. They tried consoling me saying that the filter affects everyone – LAME!!
Negativity aside…I am thrilled to share this client feedback with you guys…Weddings are a lot of work for everyone, the wedding photographer included. This kind of feedback makes it absolutely worth it and inspires me!
“There is this photo from my wedding: just after our ceremony, my wife and I are locked in a gaze, our mouths agape, and her hands are on my cheeks. It captures our joy, our relief, and our “we really did it!” excitement. When I look at that photo, I can see all of the frustrations and unexpected twists of wedding planning evaporate. I can see all the support and love of family and friends present. And I can see the tenderness of my wife and the beauty of and purpose for our union.
We asked Sri to capture the unfolding vitality of our wedding and he responded beautifully. He took pre-ceremony photos of me as I paced the event space and of my wife as she finished her make-up. He was quick-footed and kind amongst the guests, getting great shots of family and friends. And he photographed wonderful vignettes of the decor and mood. He got it all.
He really made an incredible effort to portray the entire experience and for that, my wife and I cannot thank him enough. Our photos have great color and light, excellent depth, incredible clarity and such radiance. I could continue…
…But to me, what he captured in that one photo more than paid for his services.”
Can you guess which one it is among these wedding pictures?
Cheers!!
Sri
